Mark Ellis?
Baseball Prospoectus' John Perotto reports that the White Sox reportedly have interest in Oakland A's 2nd baseman Mark Ellis. The Sox have a battle for the 2nd base position. He has great defense but we don't have a lot left in the far system. Maybe we can work something out. We already have gotten a trade done with the A's involving Nick Swisher coming over here. Ellis will become a free agent after this season and is 30 years old so is it worth it? It's all up to Kenny Williams our GM.

White Sox Sign Tomo Ohka
Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports the Sox have signed pitcher Tomo Ohka. Ohka only made 10 big league start last year with the Toronto Blue Jays and pitched not so good in the St Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners minor leagues. He turns 32 in March and hasn't done very well in the MLB jumping from team to team since coming over from Japan.

Kenny Williams: Friend or Foe
General Manager Kenny Williams has made some bad trades failed/succeeded signings in my opinion. He let Thomas go (I can understand that) but when we got Nick Swisher we gave up a lot. I like Thome but he fails to get Rowand back. He might be trading away Joe Crede, Fields is great. He makes questionable moves that confuse me. Kenny Williams can be a friend and a foe, strange.

Crede Multiyear Deal Offer?: No Joe
Joe Cowley of the Chicago Tribune has received conflicting reports from Joe Crede and the White Sox. Also Joe Crede says he never talked to Aaron Rowand about the possibility of him being traded to the San Fransisco Giants to reunite with his former teammate. After this upcoming season Crede becomes a free agent. Remember if Crede can show he can stay healthy, the White Sox and Giants have already agreed on a deal to send Crede to the Giants pending Crede's condition.
